Luxor
Luxor is a city in southern Egypt, located on the right bank of the Nile, at the site of ancient Thebes. Known as the "city of palaces," it attracts tourists from around the world with its monuments. Highlights in Luxor include the Luxor Temple, the Karnak complex, and the Valley of the Kings. The climate is hot, with summer temperatures exceeding 40 °C and winter temperatures reaching 20 °C. The best time to visit is during the cooler months from November to March. In 1979, Luxor was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
