    Luxor is a city in southern Egypt, located on the right bank of the Nile, at the site of ancient Thebes. Known as the "city of palaces," it attracts tourists from around the world with its monuments. Highlights in Luxor include the Luxor Temple, the Karnak complex, and the Valley of the Kings.
