San Juan
San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, is located on the northeastern coast of the island along the Atlantic Ocean. It is the country's most important port, as well as its economic and cultural center. Home to about 442,000 people, the entire metropolitan area boasts over 2.5 million residents. San Juan's industries include tobacco, sugar, and textiles. The historic Old Town attracts tourists with its colonial architecture. The tropical climate ensures warm temperatures year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season from December to April.
