Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, is located on the world’s largest island in North America, 81% of which is covered by ice. Home to 56,421 people—89% of whom are Inuit—it offers a unique cultural blend. The capital, Nuuk, serves as the administrative and cultural heart of the territory.
