Memmingen
Memmingen is a city in Bavaria, in the Swabia region, situated on the Iller River, which marks the border with Baden-Württemberg. Its settlement history dates back to Roman times, and it was granted city rights in the 12th century. In the 16th century, it became an important center during the Peasants' War.
